Research Strategy for Phase II: The UNFPA–UNICEF Global Programme to End Child Marriage

The Global Programme’s strategies and interventions are informed by the global evidence base on child marriage. An expert meeting in Geneva was produced to jointly review progress made in building the evidence base on child marriage, and to identify critical data and evidence gaps that were impeding progress in preventing and mitigating child marriage. At the meeting, two extensive reviews of peer-reviewed and grey literature, covering 787 and 386 papers respectively, were presented.
